In 2006 TT Games released Lego Star Wars 2 on as many platforms as they could, including the Nintendo DS.
The DS version was not made by TT, instead it out was outsourced to Amaze Entertainment and as a result, released in a very questionable state.
From downright awful level design, to odd gameplay decisions, to just odd decisions in general, this game is widely regarded as one of the weirdest DS releases... but it was actually released twice.
The game was a buggy mess, to the point where it was impossible to 100% the game. So ultimately the developers put together version 1.1, a patched, *slightly* less buggy version of the game and re-released it...
It was still a buggy mess.
