New leaked photos have revealed our best look yet at the upcoming LEGO Icons Lord of the Rings Minas Tirith, and this set is shaping up to be absolutely spectacular.
Scheduled for release on June 1st, Minas Tirith is rumoured to include over 8,000 pieces, making it one of the largest and most ambitious LEGO Lord of the Rings sets ever made. The build itself looks incredible in leaked images, with stunning architectural detail that rivals the beauty of Rivendell as a display centrepiece.
The minifigure lineup is equally impressive, featuring Aragorn, Arwen, Pippin, Gandalf the White, Faramir, Denethor, and four Gondor soldiers. Minifigure detailing appears to be a major highlight, with Aragorn standing out thanks to detailed chest armour and arm printing, easily making him one of the best LOTR minifigures LEGO has ever produced.
