A review of set number 21204 from the Lego Fusion line, released in 2014. The set contains 256 pieces including 1 minifigure, and retails for $34.99 USD.
The set itself is basically a pile of assorted bricks and modified bricks, some of which are in uncommon colors. Overall, though, these would be very cheap on the secondary market, and certainly overpriced when compared to a 650 brick box. The main cost from the set really comes from the app, which is a free download, but is extremely shallow without the set. The caveat here is that the app can only scan in your creations when it detects a certain piece that is only available in this set. I can see this piece being worth several dollars on the secondary market, though I can't even find listings for it on Bricklink or eBay yet.
I think it's arbitrary to rate sets, but I would give the app a 3/10. It's fun for a while but very repetitive and contains little diverse content.
