Once LEGO announced the retirement of the LEGO BOOST Star Wars Droid Commander 75253, I decided to design R2-D2 using only the parts from the LEGO BOOST Creative Toolbox 17101. It was not easy to preserve all the functionality of the original model, but I did it!
