The LEGO Batman Movie might simply look like a kid's movie on the surface, but the film shares many of the same qualities as the 1966 Adam West Batman TV series. Today, we're taking you through the origin and history of how the 1960s Batman show got made, how it impacted the way audiences saw the Dark Knight, and how The LEGO Batman Movie is simply a modern version of the campy series.
