Yup. So here we go. Not even a week part 1 has been out and I'm already making this, which I was hoping I would never have to make. So for those of you who dont know #legobatmancityoftheknight is a 4 part batman saga showing the events of an arkham breakout in Gotham where all criminals and patients get out. And it wasn't just a video where batman went to all the villians are bam pow they are now in arkham. It was a video with a lot of story. Not just showing Batman putting the villians away, but explaining how it happened and involving other characters along with revealing some other things about this "city-verse" and its characters. This series would also show alot of different cameos from some of the best, but underused batman characters (in my opinion). Also this saga had a killer cast and all in all was just gonna be epic! But this then came along...So if you guys watch my videos you will know that most of the time the background for the settings and places are mainly Tan or White bricks and that's because those are literally the only bricks I have in large quantities to keep the walls consistent and ok for filming. And that's something thats been bugging me. Also you will notice I only have 1 baseplate in 1 color. Along so you will see that I have a lack of vehicles and sets (like multiple buildings). And I want #legobatmancityoftheknight to be the best it can be, and not having all those things is setting it back by alot. When all of the series was done I was gonna mash them together into a full on movie (which I was expected to be at least 30-40 minutes plus). And it just wouldn't feel like a real movie to me if I didn't have those things in it and it just had a tan and white building cycle forever. It also just wouldn't feel complete to me, and I'm sure everyone else. So here is where the real trouble comes, if I were to get all these needed materials and extra programs/extensions I would need...$550. And I don't mean to sound like I poor or anything, its just that I don't get paid from YouTube and I'm not related to Donald Trump (thank god) and I just don't have the spare money to through $550 anywhere I want to (by the way I'm only 13). This just doesn't concern Batman COTK, it also effects all my future films. So here's the part I really dread saying, would you guys be willing to help fund a kickstarter for the project? I hate asking you guys for money, but its literally my last resort. (cliché thing to say about to come up) and if everyone of my subs or followers from both JSBrickz and JSFilmz donated $1-$5 we could surpass this thing and make COTK even better (and maybe even make a prequel). Now Im not saying COTK is gonna be canceled, it just wouldn't be able to begin production until I have the money needed to put into the franchise. As for JSFilmz in general I would just have to stick to doing short comedy films (also lack of pieces/sets/along with voices is a reason Lego Flash keeps getting pushed to the side). Now Im not saying the kickstarter is up or anything, Im just posting this on ig to see if you guys really want to see COTK (no lie its gonna be epic) and would want to help out with the production of this. So if we could get enough people to say yes they would donate (and please only say so if you would actually donate) then I'll start up the kickstarter, make the video of the prizes and stuff and if we reach the goal, I'd work my a$$ off to get this thing out there and make it the best you've ever seen. So let me know what you guys think in the comments below.
