And here's the final track of Legion EP!
I always compose my music based of how I personally view the characters.
This piece is supposed to be the theme of the "Legion of Doom", a gigantic army controlled by Chrysalis, Tirek, Cozy Glow and Grogar.
And, honestly, I admit to being heavily inspired by some works of Hiroyuki Sawano.
The music itself is divided in several parts: first off, during the first two minutes (more or less), the villains are introduced with powerful choirs and epic vocals, while marching towards the battlefield, being able to defeat soldiers by the dozen.
Then, the following minute shows their army arriving, chanting in old-ponish and becoming more numerous, marching forward and crushing everything in it's way.
Finally, after the big drop... here comes the big final war. Thousands of soldiers from each side are fighting - it's pure chaos.
I can't really say how it ends... though, I have a preference for the villain team! ;)
This track features the talented Celica Soldream, who performs incredible and epic vocals.

Heya everyone!
Its been quite a while but, finally, heres the second track from my side-project Elden Wing EP! The boss theme this time is Fluttershy!
For those who dont know, this EP is a concept/parody mini-album with 7 boss themes, a crossover between Elden Ring / Dark Souls and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic in collaboration with the incredible artist Neytirix!
As always, I unfortunately cant predict the release for the next tracks as I got many projects to work on - plus, I got back to studies, with evening lessons, for the next three years.
For this one, I wanted to compose something a bit more mystical and epic, compared to AJs theme, as well as a bit more fantast-like, hence the vocals towards phase 3 and 4.
Speaking of which, the vocals you hear in this track come from the VST Era II Vocal Codex: Heroica and, yes, the singer here is indeed Celica Soldream! :D

So as promised, heres the second track of my very first EP: Alicornae. This time, weve got a music in the name of Celestia!
I wanted it to give the feeling of grace, power and divinity. And also a little bit of ceremonial ambiance.
It could be the longest track of the EP, I dont know yet...

Heya everyone!
This is it, the last standalone video of the album Jyc Row x Malachi Mott - Remixes is here and we close this series with the remix of Celestial Berserkers!
So, about this one, I took the liberty to remove my own vocals from the remix, because it REALLY felt out of place with them in it, which is why there are more instrumental parts in this one.
Though I really liked what Malachi have done with the EMD/Big Room style here - which changes quite a lot the vibe the original had!
I hope you enjoyed this series even though this is ABSOLUTELY different of what Im used to release here! It was some sort of experiment, with the goal to put some fresh air a bit in the middle of all the orchestral tracks I make ahah :p

TL;DR: I might take a break from now and come back around mid-May, two big songs I plan to submit to P@D, including a very ambitious project featuring the Sofia Session Choir (Praise Nerath)!, the audiobook of Infinite Eclipse: Prequels Finale might take way more time to make than I originally planned, and a new EP Elden Wing coming probably this year.

Todays release is a bit special since it isnt an orchestral track, nor an original song!
This is a remix made by Malachi Mott of an old song of mine, Onward, which I made with Princess Lunas singing voice herself, Aloma Steele, and which is featured in the new A State of Sugar album, Eclair! Speaking of which, here are some info about the liveparty:
This remix has quite a summer-ish vibe which, in my opinion (even though the sun is not quite there in Belgium... Summer was not as hot as last year tbh)
In any case, Im very happy how it turned out - Malachi did an incredible job with this one! :D
For those who dont know, Aloma Steel is the Singing Voice Actress of the beloved Princess Luna - she sang Lunas Future in the episode A Hearths Warming Tail (S06E08) as well as Lotta Little Things in the episode Between Dark and Dawn (S09E13)

Malachi used to work at Interscope Records, then Icon Collective, and now is teaching mixing at 1500 Academy.
Hes versed in many styles while working with some huge people, from Ty Dolla $ign to Sia.

Speaking of which - big news: a FULL REMIX ALBUM (10 tracks) is in the making, with remixes of my old (and not so old) songs! If everything goes well, another one will be released for Halloween, on Oct. 31st. Then, theoretically, itll be one per month starting December (this is when I plan to start the pre-order of the album)!
