The local legend tells of a devastating Indigenous love story, Legend has it that two star-crossed lovers from enemy tribes had their lives taken prematurely. Their bodies expelled from the cliff now known as "Spirit Rock".

Popular belief is that their untimely death left a curse upon the land. So, when Canadian Politician Alexander McNeil decided to build his beautiful estate here, was it the curse that caused it to burn to the ground or was it simply just vandalism?

Who was in the woods with us? Was it Alexander McNeil? Was it the star-crossed lovers? Or was it something else entirely?
