This video shows the sets of leg armor for Vahn, Noa, and Gala that bypass the automatic miss when attacking a floating enemy with a 'Low' command or a short enemy with a 'High' command. Vahn has two sets of leg armor that allow him to hit any enemy no matter the direction, Gala has one set, and Noa has none. Vahn can hit short enemies with a high kick by wearing no leg armor, or one of three sets. Noa and Gala both have two leg armor sets that can hit short enemies with a high kick.
