Ganesh Cherian used to be the Bishop of Wellington New Zealand.
But the he came to his senses and became a standup comedian. I would say a supricingly good comedian taking into consideration how boring it is to be in the Mormon Church.
Ganesh invited me to an open mic in the Mormon church. The show was called «testimony meeting» and everyone ended their set with the same punchline.
Jonas Skogstroll is currently touring NZ with the show Doomsday Comedy where all the comedians are former cult members. The show is ment to be both entertaining and healing.
The next show will be in Christchurch NZ and tickets are still available.
