This short instrumental started as an experiment with spread triads after learning Mateus Asato’s Cryin’. It naturally evolved into something with a bit of a sad, expressive feel, featuring:
✅ Mateus Asato-style semitone slides
✅ Delicate phrasing with dynamic contrast
✅ Raw, emotional guitar tone

Boss Gigcaster (GT-100 effects)
Reverb, compression, light overdrive

Paul Landsberg and I have been playing together since 2016 and started the Stringtones together which is a guitar duo. ( https://thestringtones.com ) Over the years weve played many different tunes and many different styles and Ive always liked our rendition of Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper. We adapted our arrangement a little so the tune wasnt too long. Normally we would have both played a solo over the form but decided against that. In any case, we hope you enjoy it!
