A true Xbox 360 time capsule. Unlike the Steam version, the Xbox Demo stayed up for as long as the marketplace! It's also a neat look into how the game has changed since then, with all the updates. (I remember the bots having a tendency to snatch up all the melee weapons in this version, before I could even get one! This was later patched out, with them being much less likely to pick them up.)
I don't remember the gore being censored on the demo...but it is? You can even see it set to high in the options, so I'm not sure what's up with that.
This is composite capture, by the way. I have no other way of capturing Xbox 360 footage, but it's also how I started out playing on the 360. I didn't upgrade from a CRT to a widescreen display until the early 2010s, and it wasn't until a while after that I got an HDMI cord. I remember thinking how much better it looked, even just on an LCD in standard definition. The jump to 720p was even more impressive to me, with the text & other little details being much clearer.
