ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) -- Virginia short track legend Lee Pulliam announced Tuesday on Dale, Junior Download podcast he will compete full time in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series in 2027 for Peterson Racing Group driving the Number 87 car. The 38-year-old made his O'Reilly debut earlier this season at Martinsville for JR motorsports, finishing fifth in the No. 9 car. Pulliam said he'll also race for the team this season at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and Martinsville Speedway. Pulliam is a four-time NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Division I National Champion. He is a two time ValleyStar Credit Union 300 champion at the Martinsville Speedway!
