The hustle for Lee Dong Wook never stops. Jumping across fantasy genres and playing every role from a psychopathic bad guy to a schizophrenic cop, this shapeshifting actor seems to have done it all. After 23 years in showbiz — with 17 years of non-stop grinding since his breakout role in rom-com drama My Girl in 2005 — that hunger for growth still burns bright. “Many things happened from that time until now, there were times where I was happy, other times I was frustrated,” he says. “But to be able to steadily move forward and remain consistent is real growth.”
