This is an attempted remaster.. I've always wanted to do something with this recording, given that it is the oldest known Zeppelin recording (and the only one from 1968).

A completely different mix, it brings Jonesys bass up considerably, gives Bonzos drums much more depth, and lets Roberts voice soar freely. Also features the absence of Jonesys keyboard solo, but makes up for that in Jimmys seldom-heard guitar solo towards the end. Its a shame that the album version trimmed over a minute off this song.")

This is an audience recording from very close to the stage; it sounds very crisp and listenable for its type.
It is, however, full of cuts, with some songs incomplete. This is because the bootlegger tried to conserve tape.

Im thinking about assembling a remastered concert from several 1971 soundboard sources, not including anything from the September 29th Osaka concert (theres an EVSD remaster on the way for that). It would have the concert of this performance, and some from the September 4th 1971 concert. Both those soundboards are incomplete but are complete together, I think.
Apologies for the pause in posting after such a hot streak.. I had serious computer issues that I ended up accidentally making much much worse (I almost lost literally everything). Luckily I did some hard drive recovery and things are getting back to normal.")

From the soundcheck preceding an undetermined 1973 concert.
Ive posted this before, but I now know how to properly balance and equalize this soundcheck tape for the first time. In previous uploads, the stereo balance was way off, with the whole thing being left-heavy. I figured out that the imbalance was because the stereo tracks were literally not in sync, with the left being slightly ahead of the right.
I also figured out how to cut this to include more of the song, so here it is: the only other known full rendition of The Rover, besides the studio track.
Included are some group photos of the band from this era.")
