My noncompletely working led matrix (pl9823 8mm leds). Running from glediator on pc to arduino nano to display. I have problems with power i think, the 7 lower lines of leds flicker sometimes as seen in the video (the flashes) and last line almost flickers always. I have added 100nf caps to all leds, and power-inject top left and bottom middle. (some flashes are audiotriggers from glediator)
The powersupply is a cheap pc supply with supposedly 35A 5v line, but i don't think so, so i have ordered a dedicated 40A supply.
I have calculated 493leds*60mA/led so 28Amp should it draw.
I don't run this video with 100% power to leds, because it's so blindingly bright the camera could not take it. I think i run about 30-40%.
PS: i will NEVER solder one of these again, what a incredible work.
Every led 4 pins, wires between all in/outs, 493 leds, 493 caps, 58 powerwires, 493 drilled holes, 986 hotglues on leds. Gahh...
