Learn how to make LED Chaser Circuit Using 4017 and 555 IC. The simple Breadboard tutorial and electronics project.
This chaser circuit is based on two ICs that is 555 timer IC and CD4017, in the circuit 555 timer IC generate pulses that can be adjust by the variable resistor, the pulses triggers the CD4017 IC so it runs ten LEDs in sequential arrangement. You can arrange the LEDs in different styles and make it on PCB. The breadboard tutorial is just for learning and the step by step process in breadboard tutorials makes learning electronic circuits more easy to understand. There is no need of circuit diagram, just follow the steps and make your own 10 LED chaser circuit.
