Stephen, or Stephanie, Burt is Professor of English at Harvard and the author of several books of poetry and literary criticism, among them CLOSE CALLS WITH NONSENSE; THE ART OF THE SONNET, with David Mikics; BELMONT; and, most recently, the chapbook ALL-SEASON STEPHANIE. Burt's reviews and essays, usually about poetry but sometimes about comic books, or music, or gender, appear regularly in Boston Review, the New York Times Book Review, and other journals in the US and UK.
