In this lecture Jethro Black continues the theme of the Messiah. Gimmel Tammuz is the date in which Joshua won the battle of Gibeon, the day he asked for the Sun and Moon to stand still so that the day would be longer and he could complete the battle before the entry of the Sabbath on that Friday. On the same date two other events took place - the liberation of Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneersohn from prison and the death of Menachem Mendel Schneerson - the 6th and 7th Rebbes of Lubavitch.
