This lecture starts with a review of the Fourier Series and waveform characteristics in the time and frequency domains, including the decomposition of waveforms into odd and even components and half-wave symmetric and half-wave repeating components. The single-phase full-bridge inverter (dc-to-ac converter) is introduced along with simple techniques to control the AC output.
