In this lecture, we continue our discussion on the first law of thermodynamics. In particular, we incorporate the effects of potential energy and kinetic energy into the mathematical formulation of the first law of thermodynamics. We also introduce the enthalpy as a state property and present one example where enthalpy is used. (c) Supreet Singh Bahga
