The Puget Sound Auto Theft Task Force (PSATTF) is a multi-jurisdictional law enforcement team dedicated to combating organized auto theft rings and prolific car thieves across King and Pierce counties in Washington. With July being National Vehicle Theft Prevention Month, we want to provide helpful tips that could save you from having your vehicle stolen and experiencing one of the worst days of your life. Never leave your vehicle running and unattended, especially with children inside. It only takes seconds for a thief to jump in and drive away, putting your vehicle and your loved ones at risk.
We want to thank the Washington Auto Theft Prevention Authority (WATPA), Snohomish County Auto Theft Task Force (SNOCAT), and the Puget Sound Auto Theft Task Force for providing resources and focusing on preventing and recovering stolen vehicles to their rightful owners.
