When shopping for new handle bar grips for my bike, I realized I could easily make them instead! Also, I could probably make a nicer set than anything I could afford…
Armed with a free iPhone scanner app (Kiri Engine), I digitized the old handle and made a few changes before printing a set on my new V400 3D Delta Bot Printer provided to me by FLSUN.
Most all grips I have used eventually break down. Coating your hands with slimy rubber compounds. I knew I wanted to upgrade my human | machine interface to a nice leather wrapped, ergonomic design that would be fairly easy to reproduce if I needed another set.
