Leather samples are tested to ISO Standard 3377-2 using Mecmesin's MultiTest 2.5-i force testing stand. Special fixtures as detailed in the ISO standard are used to hold a sample of leather while it is tested to find the maximum tear load. Emperor software controls the test, captures the data and performs the required calculations.
