I first heard this Buddy Holly song performed by Leo Kottke. I prefer the tempo he used. The Buddy Holly version is a little too fast for my taste. Sad songs usually work better for me in slow motion. My puny arrangement is probably a little too fast also, but I have a tempo disorder aggravated by a severe talent deficiency.
This is an "easy" arrangement that a beginner might find worthwhile. I tried to make it harder, but I was already making too many mistakes.
It might appear that I am becoming less productive. Perhaps losing interest in this Youtube foolishness. But that is not the case. I have way too many tunes in production and they all have technical difficulties that are slowing me down. I'm trying harder to do a decent job of performing the arrangements, so it's taking me longer to give up. If I enter into a really bad mood I may just dump them all at once and move on. If that happens, I apologize. I truly am a music lover and it is without malice that I abuse these songs.
