It is time for another Ikarus devlog! This time I had to spend a bunch of time on fixing game breaking bugs, before deciding to work on the game's looks by learning how to do pixel art!
I honestly had a lot of fun learning pixel art and I've been enjoying drawing sprites a lot more since.
I use aseprite to make my sprites and animations!
This is the third devlog in the series and I got many more things planned for the future of this game!
Ikarus is a 2D life simulator-like game in space, inspired by the popular Stardew Valley (by ConcernedApe aka Eric Barone), in which you will explore the planet Ikarus and learn about it to prepare it for habitation!
The gameplay will be a fun combination of Stardew Valley, Monster Hunter and Forager.
