Color with Kurt | Learning about light using a video game @colorwithkurt | Uploaded June 2020 | Updated October 2024, 21 hours ago.
In this video, I'll be going through the recently released Unreal Engine 5 demo to show how it's creating natural lights by actually bouncing the reflected lights off of the environments. This is really helpful for digital coloring because you can see how the game is artificially creating the lighting just like it would be in the real world -- which is also what colorists are basing their lighting on to varying degrees.
