I got to learn a bit about the history of Buddhism while in Thailand, and how it's shaped their culture and laws as a country.

The temples are amazing, inlcuding the odd Wat Tham Ta Pan, and there are even monks you can speak with at some of them. It's a very rewarding discussion if you ever get the chance!
