The Raleigh Ascend 27.5” E-bike is a hardtail mountain bike that features a powerful 350-Watt, 36 volt pedal-assist hub-drive motor that only kicks in when you’re pedaling the bike. The motor utilizes a cadence sensor that detects when the pedals are moving and then provides power from the 10.5Ah battery mounted to the downtube. With assistance up to 32 km/h and 5 levels of assistance to choose from, using the LCD display on your handlebar, it is easy to control the amount of power output desired. The Ascend has a performance-oriented design and is equipped with a durable 6061 aluminum frame, Microshift Acolyte 8-speed shifting system with 46T cassette, Tektro disc brakes, Vaxa suspension fork, performance saddle and alloy stem with Prowheel burner crank. (Note: Bike still operates when battery is discharged).
