In part two, you will see how the P-51 Mustang continued to serve in the Israeli Air Force in the 1948 Independence War. Mysterious recon aircraft were regularly overflying Israel since the beginning of the conflict and initially, Israelis couldn't intercept them with their S-199s. But now, as two Mustangs became available, the situation changed.
We fast forward to 7 January 1949, just two hours before the end of hostilities, Israeli Mustangs will have a chance to engage a large group of Egyptian fighters. How will they do? Check out in the video.
