How far down do you dare to jump?
This game is about jumping down a huge abyss while dodging a bunch of sawblades on the way down. Once you're at the bottom you get the option to either climb up the ladder, or jump again. Considering your score becomes higher the deeper you go it might be tempting to go for another jump, but dying means you will lose your score! Because the way the saws are placed is random for every jump, there's no way to tell in advance how difficult it will be so you have to "roll the dice" and hope for the best. Every jump is a gamble that can make or break your score!
I made this simple game in less than 48 hours for the annual game jam hosted by Game Maker's Toolkit. The theme this year was "Roll of the dice", which is why I went with a falling game that has you dodge random patterns of sawblades on the way down. While time constraints have definitely impacted this presentation of the game, I'm still glad with what I ended up with.
