Leah M. has wanted to help people since she was a child.
"I just wanted to make people smile, make their day," she says.
Those values have held firm throughout Leah's life. She started as a dialysis technician at UPMC before deciding to pursue nursing. UPMC helped pay for her tuition as she worked part-time at the hospital.
Today, she's still helping people as a dialysis nurse at UPMC.
"I love my job," she says. "I definitely feel a sense of belonging at UPMC."
