From 2021 to 2025, Janet Yellen served as the 78th Secretary of the Treasury of the United States. She also served as Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve. Secretary Yellen has taught at a number of prestigious universities including Harvard, London School of Economics, and at UC Berkeley Haas, where she is a professor emeritus. Currently, she is a Distinguished Fellow in Residence of the Hutchins Center at the Brookings Institution.
In a fireside chat, Secretary Yellen will discuss her career journey from academia to public service and being an expert in economic policy.
