Two Connecticut police officers are recovering after exchanging gunfire with a suspect during a pursuit that began in Hartford and ended in Newington. The suspect was struck in the shootout and pronounced dead.

News 8's Caroline LeCour spoke with officials in Hartford about the shooting and their relief that the officers are OK.
