Temporary / 1st year student short film (sound warning) Kitecats 2023-05-30 | prepare for an essay here xdyeah be careful with sound, it may be too loud a few times for some.The idea behind the film was to show the feeling of burnout through clay and a space I could describe as "the subconscious mind" in first person POV. I was more aiming for a meditative, healing vibe here, because this state is one to make anyone feel stuck and miserable, BUT it does have an end to it... You just have to pay your attention back to yourself and seek for the better... to put it shortly :3Alright, this is a bit different than what I usually upload, more abstract and whatnot. It was an assignment to create a script and animation up to a minute. Had to scrap the idea of making this a story with a character, and instead got this xdd It was my first time experimenting with clay animation, it was quite fun but stressful though. Ironically enough, I got burnt out in the process of creating this so things have gone south in the end... All that nasty stuff aside, this was one of my fav projects to work on, I learnt how to "paint" with clay, learnt to use all sorts of gadgets, After Effects, and my experience during the first year of uni was rather pleasant. I'm really thankful for the support and help from my family, friends, colleagues and even lecturers.I also must apologize for being a scaredy cat for not updating y'all on my projects though. So yeah I hope you like it and let's get to the story what just happened here: so this child named Alex, was bullied and he was unloved by everyone even by his own mother,so he decided to run away in the forest and live there until he dies there...but of course he found a place to stay and he became, uhh a cat...a really huge one if you ask me .-.
