On this video the Distance Measurement Equipment circuits are tested. After a quick reverse engineering of the front-end interface it was clear that this function uses an ARINC 429 interface. After implementing the DME function in the ARINC 429 test device this function is tested. A pin on the rear connector permits to have a resolution of 1 NM when short-circuited to ground, otherwise the resolution is 0.1 NM.
