Little Big Adventure running on a (semi) modern computer, i5 3470 (3.6 Ghz), 16 Gb of ram, crt screen, Freedos 1.3 RC2. The goal is to show the timer and test some glitches on real hardware. Sorry, it's a bit out of focus. Menu animation is too fast, as expected, the zoom glitch works (unlike dosbox). The zoom is instant but if you hold F5 it freezes time more with a black screen, I don't know if it can help with the glitch. 2 interesting things is the glitch where you jump, hold enter and press F2 again while holding enter to levitate, you levitate much faster on a real computer than on emulators I've tried. Also, the platform of the nurse doesn't move linearly, it accelerates then slows downs, then accelerates again. It can happen in dosbox or dosbox-x but I haven't seen the issue in pcem.
If you want to install Freedos or MS Dos, you need a computer with a bios (UEFI doesn't work), and an empty hard drive. If you install it on a partition you'll have a hard time removing the bootloader.
