I owe this video entirely to my outstanding guide, John Cahill. We were walking on a trail in Rogitama when he suddenly said: "Do you hear that? That is the call of the Lazuline Sabrewing!" As is often the case, I heard absolutely nothing, which probably has to do with my age. "Give me your camera," he said, and then disappeared into the bushes. When I caught up with him a little later, he was already filming the hummingbird. I made this short video from the total of 10 minutes of footage.
