Noted Below - the bands we captured in this livestream footage & songs performed at the 2023 Layne Staley Tribute at the Crocodile in Seattle.
We did not capture Tim Branom or Dane Creek due to technical difficulties. The rest noted below is in order of appearance. If we can recover that footage we will upload a revised video.
Seattleâs Jar of Flies; the Ultimate Tribute to Alice In Chains + Jason Kertson perform:
River of Deceit, Brother, No Excuses & Down in a Hole - (Right Turn, not filmed)
Rooster, a Tribute to Alice In Chains (from Denver) to include Jon Kibble (Vocals, Guitar), Zachary Saligoe (Lead Guitar) & David Burke (Bass Guitar) plus JT Phillips (Lead Guitar from Jar of Flies) & Daryl Williams (Drums also from Jar of Flies) perform;
Bleed the Freak (in progress), Rooster (not filmed), What the Hell Have I & It Ainât Like That
Nancy McCallum (Layne Staleyâs Mom), performs âWakeupâ with Layne singing (digital music overhead)
Finally, Jar of Flies performs with Brendan Maier (a permanent member of the band). Songs performed; Them Bones, Dam That River, Rain When I Die, Sunshine & Love Hate Love.
We were not able to film the final songs on the set list - Junkhead, Dirt, Angry Chair & Man in the Box. A song was dedicated to our friend Debbie who we found out had passed away. Gayle Starr came up on stage and dedicated Man in the Box to her.

When: August 19, 2023
Event: Night 2 of a 2 Night Tribute to Layne Staley; Layne passed away on April 5, 2002 after a long battle with drug addiction. Since August of 02, an annual concert weekend has been held to honor Layne. The tribute weekend also raises money to fund the Layne Staley Fund through Therapeutic Health Services. The money raised provides treatment to musicians struggling with addiction. It also provides resources to their families.
