Each year Nancy Layne McCallum performs “Wake Up” along with her son Layne Staley (against music) at the annual Layne Staley Tribute. This year it was held at the new Crocodile🐊.
Do note it’s not the full song as we ended up having technical difficulties and had to end taping before she was finished.
I’ve dedicated this video to our friend Christian Discenza who passed away on July 24, 2022 from lung cancer. Chris was a diehard AiC/Layne fan. He attended 3 tributes. He made many fellow AiC friends from attending each year. We will hold him in our hearts and never forget him.
Nehi Stripes Seattle is the official media outlet for the annual Layne Staley Tribute. We will put out an annual tribute recap soon and will be published on our website nehistripes.com
You can find us all on all major social media platforms; Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Tumbler, Pinterest and YouTube
Long Live the legacies of Layne Staley & Mike Starr
