How to layer sounds when doing sound design, why you would want to do it, and what kind of synthesizer you need in order to do it. Then I demonstrate creating a two-layer sound on the ASM Hydrasynth. Lastly, I demonstrate and review Marc Barnes' new Emotions patch sets, Volumes 1 and 2, which contain a ton of great multi patches using layering and splits.
