I’m super obsessed w my friends dnd NPC Zernin rn so like AAAA had to make this for him. I love this character so much, he’s a villain in our campaign and I just wanna hold him and get him therapy cause Jesus Christ sir he needs it
Last session I got his backstory and as a Zernin stan I cried ,,
But yeah basically it’s Zernin thinking about his life and at one point he came to talk to someone and a party member unintentionally eavesdropped and so Zernin got super pissed. He demanded that the party give him this magic crystal, they asked why, and Streak asked him if it had to do with bringing someone back from the dead, to which Zernin got all quiet and sad about. We gave it to him, but Eldritch followed him and then Streak did as he tried to leave. They followed him to an alleyway, where he confronted them and then after asking some questions, he dropped his backstory to us because “w e’e all going to die anyway.” Eldritch recognized a name of someone from his backstory and realized that he and Zernin were cousins. Zernin then demanded Eldritch tell him where that person was and then told Eldritch he was going to help him do something.in relation to that person.
