Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) is committed to being a Gold-Standard Airport, and we depend on our employees to provide our guests with gold-star service by being informative, courteous, approachable, responsive, efficient and effective.
We recently celebrated exceptional gold star performances by our employees and airport terminals at the 1st Quarter 2018 Celebration. Gold Star employees were randomly selected for the “Wall of Fame” from more than 200 recognitions that were submitted by our guests and colleagues in the first quarter. We also honored a few employees with the “LAXTRA Mile Award” for going above and beyond their normal course of duties to enhance the guest experience.
In addition, we honored our airport terminals based upon mystery shop scores and Airport Service Quality scores provided by Airports Council International - North America. Thank you to all of our honorees.
