A prominent Connecticut law firm specializing in injury cases decided to literally take its advertising to the streets, prompting Hartford Mayor Arunan Arulampalam to threaten the firm with fines.

Arulampalam said in a social media post Tuesday that he asked Hartford police to cite the law firm because Trantolo & Trantolo should not be treated differently from anyone else in the city.

"If a young person did this is the City of Hartford, we would call it graffiti," he said. "I don't believe that a law firm should be treated any differently."
