Thank you so much for watching my cover of the traditional English folk song, "Lavender's Blue." I've known this song for a long time, but hearing it recently in Disney's 2015 rendition of Cinderella brought up new possibilities. I decided not to do a Cinderella cosplay or base this version off of the movie version with Lily James. Instead, I wanted to make this as acoustic as possible and I loved the sweet, innocent sound that the recorders add to the melody. It seemed to fit the piece just right! I also enjoyed prancing around (literally haha) in my Renaissance costume. You can thank my mother's incredible sewing abilities and loving dedication for how lovely it is! (Love you, Mom!) I love an excuse to wear it. :-)
