A bright sunrise pokes its head over a distant mountain range, bathing fields of lavender in early morning sunlight. Does it get any more tranquil than that?! Let's paint it an find out! This is a good acrylic painting tutorial for beginners on up!

I’m painting on a 12x16-inch stretched canvas, but you can paint on any type and size of canvas you like.
I used:
• A 1-in flat brush
• A 1/2-inch flat brush
• #8 filbert

I’m using Liquitex Basics acrylic paint in the following colors:
• Titanium White
• Ultramarine Blue
• Quinacridone Magenta
• Cadmium Yellow Medium
• Burnt Umber
But you can use any colors you like.
