When you're gifted chiles, you have to make use of them, right? Well, my Brother in Law gave us some home grown Madame Jeannettes and Scorpions so.... we made a mead. A capsicumel to be precise!

Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Chilis: 2 parts Madame Jeannette, 1 part Scorpion
1/2 Packet SafAle US-04 yeast: amzn.to/4azwNE6
1 Cup Black Tea steeped in 8 oz of water
2.5 pounds (1.133 kg) Texas Honey: amzn.to/3xCyG4w
86 oz (2.543 liters) Water

Additions:
Back Sweeten with Honey to Specific Gravity Reading of 1.030 or to taste
