To celebrate the launch of Astroneer's 1.0 version on February 6th 2019, we live streamed this video on Twitch.

We gutted an Xbox one X and turned it into a payload to send up into the stratosphere via weather balloon, equipped with two cameras, an onboard tracking system, and a small computer to record data!

We assumed the extra battery and hand warmers would keep the cameras alive for the entire trip, but the extreme cold chewed through most of the onboard power and we didn't get the entire descent. A shorter version of this video was aired on Inside Xbox: youtu.be/i6eVO0FUpmk
