The structure has the same topology as Schoen's GW surface. The GW surface comes in a graphite sheet hexagonal structure or in a wurtzite structure (hence the name), in this case the wurtzite structure is approached. When a 60 degree Bonnet rotation is performed on the unit (that looks like an X from 3 sides), rotating the top section, then you get a unit that forms Schwarz' P surface.
