Lathallan School Pipe Band playing on Johnshaven Harbour during their 60th anniversary celebrations. This was on Thursday 27th June 2024 and the band, led here by piping instructor Mr John Nevans, were playing the march "Dawning of the Day", then Jigs "Rocking the Baby" and "Kesh Jig" and finish with a slow air "Johnshaven Square", composed by John Nevan's son.
The event brought together Lathallan School pipers and drummers from past and present at Johnshaven in Aberdeenshire Scotland. Prior to this display, the band had gathered at the grave of Pipe Major Harry Stott to perform a tribute to the band's founders, Piper Harry Stott KOSB and Drum Major Jock Clarke of Brechin.
